'a taste of ...' Mini-competition Results

Thank you to all those who entered our last mini-competition, on the theme of 'a taste of …'

The winning entry was 'Dust' by Mair de Gare Pitt, a wonderful piece on paranoia with a subtle and oblique use of the theme.

The runners up were:

  1. Josephine Greenland with 'Playground', a wonderful use of food to evoke memory;
  2. Nicola Warwick with four poems that capture the mythic; and
  3. Karen Robbie, with a small gem of a poem on magnolia.

You download Mair's story and read the full adjudication.

The new mini-competition, on the theme of utopia is now open for submissions. We look forward to reading your work.
