… the answer isn’t in these pages.
So the back of this beautiful pamphlet of poetry tells us. Inside, Nick Jones ranges across many of life’s questions, taking in human foibles, our search for meaning and the mystery and wonder of the physical world. Sometimes humourous, sometimes serious, Still Life might not offer answers but it suggests questions and, perhaps, places to look for answers.
Illustrated throughout by the author’s etchings and paintings, Still Life is a moving and extraordinary collection.
